Lunar Eclipse 2014

Wednesday October 8, 2014

Starting at 6:25 Am Eastern time we can witness a total eclipse of the moon.   Earth will pass between the moon and the sun blocking the sun’s light from illuminating the moon.  Small amounts of light will pass through and hit the moon making it bright red.  Lunar eclipses are often called blood moons.
Hope you can witness it all …the weather will be cloudy and rainy in New York, so chances are we won’t get to see it here.  However, I’ll be up before 6 am, as always, and I will look out my window and hope that I get a glimpse of the Lunar Eclipse.
